The Job At-A-GlanceQ2 is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead our Software Delivery team, responsible for the platforms, automation, and insights that enable software delivery across our engineering organization.In this role, you'll lead a team of full-stack engineers responsible for advancing release orchestration, release intelligence, and engineering workflow automation. You will partner closely with Product, Architecture, Platform Engineering, and Development teams to improve how software is planned, coordinated, and delivered at enterprise scale. Success requires balancing operational excellence with long-term product and platform evolution while influencing stakeholders across multiple engineering organizations.This is an opportunity to shape the future of Software Delivery at Q2.you'll lead a team building products that engineers rely on every day while helping define how software delivery evolves across one of the industry's leading fintech platforms. A Typical DayLead and develop a high-performing engineering team; own hiring, coaching, career development, and execution against strategic and operational outcomes.Own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery of Q2's Software Delivery platforms, including release orchestration, release visibility, and engineering workflow capabilities; define strategic direction and prioritize investments that improve software delivery across the organization.Partner across Product, Architecture, Development, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security to coordinate dependencies, remove delivery roadblocks, manage risk, and drive alignment that enables predictable, low-friction software delivery.Ensure the reliable execution of client software updates through mature automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while creating capacity for continued investment in strategic platform capabilities.Build and evolve scalable systems that provide actionable release intelligence, operational visibility, and engineering insights that improve decision-making across software delivery.Lead the evolution of software delivery practices through progressive delivery, engineering self-service, workflow automation, and other innovations that improve engineering productivity and customer experience.
