Department: Early Support for Infants & Toddlers (ESIT)Reports To: ESIT Program AdministratorClassification: Classified Non-Exempt (1.0 Full-Time) 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.Location: Walla Walla County and Benton Franklin Counties (Remote from home with daily travel to site visits required)Rate of Pay: $24.94 (step 1/year 1) - $28.07 (step 5/year5)SUMMARY: ESD 123 is looking for a qualified individual who is bilingual in English and Spanish to fill the role of Family Support Coordinator (FRC). This position is responsible for coordinating early support services for families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities. In addition to supporting families, the FRC coordinates community outreach, identifies needed community resources, and collaborates with local agencies/service providers, including school districts. This position travels within Walla Walla, Benton, and Franklin counties. All travel expenses eligible for reimbursement will be covered in accordance with OFM guidelines and applicable program requirements.Essential FunctionsPromote family involvement in all aspects of services for their child.Complete the intake process with new families to:Identify family concerns and prioritiesAssess child developmentEducate families about potential developmental delaysEnsure that families are informed of their roles and rights, from initial contact through transition out of the early intervention program.Seek out and participate in professional development opportunities.Provide the early intervention team with all necessary information (e.g., medical records, developmental screenings, community resources) to deliver high-quality services.Attend meetings and activities (e.g., child find, early learning coalition meetings) to strengthen community partnerships.Conduct outreach activities to recruit and enroll children and families in the Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program.Facilitate the development and implementation of Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP). This includes 6-month reviews and annual IFSPsSupport families as they transition out of our program, ensuring a seamless exit of services. This included collaborating with school districts, and other community programs.Establish partnerships with community agencies to identify resources supporting the IFSP.Compile data using the state data management system; submit required forms, evaluations, and data reports to meet program standards.Provide support services, referrals, and follow-up to achieve IFSP goals.Plan, conduct, and facilitate meetings in collaboration with families, school districts, and other community agencies.Ensure timely and accurate data entry in the data management system.Utilize the data management system to input child and family information and track timelines and compliance.Create and maintain up-to-date, confidential child files to ensure compliance with program requirements.Follow all applicable Board policies and proceduresMaintain confidentiality.Supervisory: noneOTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs related duties as assigned*Related duties that may not be specifically listed in the Position Description but are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee's classification of work.QualificationsA minimum of two (2) years experience working with infants, toddlers and/or children. Case management is preferred.Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Human Development, or in a related field preferred.Obtain the Family Resource Coordinator (FRC) credential through ESIT within 60 days of hire.Fluency in English and Spanish is required.Experience using Microsoft Office, Google, and Adobe products.Must have a working/reliable vehicle and automobile insurance.WSP/ FBI Background Clearance Required.Requires knowledge of:IDEA Part C regulations and Washington State policies and procedures.Family-centered practices in early intervention.Child development (Primarily birth to three age range).Washington State's Individualized Family Service Plan process.Requires The Ability ToCreate and maintain respectful partnerships with families.Apply active listening while collaborating with the team and families.Practice effective verbal and written skills, while being aware of how it relates to the target audience.Prepare and maintain accurate records and operate standard office equipment using pertinent software applications.Travel for home visits, meetings, and professional development opportunities.Have a flexible schedule to accommodate family needs; this may include some evening and weekend hours.Work independently and with others in a variety of circumstances.Schedule activities, meetings, and/or events.Provide the same standard of services to every family regardless of culture, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, education, and/or familial status.
