This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides maintenance services to over 18,000 public housing dwellings for the Department of Communities, including Aboriginal communities in remote locations throughout the State.Benefits ProvidedMinimum $125K + SuperJob security, working in an essential Government Sector located in KarrathaVehicle, Uniforms / PPE providedAn Employee Assistance Program, which incorporates a range of support and counselling services for any issue, personal or work relatedKey ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Branch Supervisor, the Maintenance Plumber is primarily responsible for general maintenance and reactive maintenance of our contract’s facilities.Duties IncludePerform general and reactive maintenance throughout the facilities.Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings and drainage systems.Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing and plumbing emergencies.About YouTo join our team, you will be a qualified Carpenter who has experience in a domestic or commercial environment, has excellent attention to detail and a strength for delivering a high quality service without compromise. The incumbent is a key person within the Team, promoting staff morale while displaying a “can do” and “Team Player” attitude.
