Assistant Program Manager
MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE
MUST HAVE A HS DIPLOMA OR GED
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER's LICENSE
The Assistant Program Manager will provide leadership and support for the residential staff team in our adolescent Emergency Residence Program and is responsible for management, supervisory and programmatic issues. While working as a member of the interdisciplinary team, this position helps to support safety, permanency and well-being of youth.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supports and ensures compliance with best practice, licensing, Code of Conduct, Agency policies and standards.
2. Provides leadership to staff in the facilitation of change process and implementation of new initiatives, including the ARC model and Safety-Care.
3. Provides coaching, mentoring and supervision of designated residential and supervisory staff.
4. Participates in all processes related to risk management including internal investigations relating to youth and staff performance issues.
5. Develops programming and activities for program incorporating trauma informed care, family centered and culturally competent practice.
6. Coordinates weekly scheduling of staff for all shifts.
7. Coordinates daily coverage of shifts, ensuring ratio is maintained at all times.
8. Assists in therapeutic interventions, consistent with ARC and Safety-Care in the milieu and manages applicable notification protocols.
9. Ensures necessary documentation is completed on payroll e-time processing for bi-weekly payroll.
10. Participates in on-call system to facilitate after hours admissions and provide administrative coverage to meet the needs of youth and staff.
11. Oversees and facilitates the interviewing and hiring process for program.
12. Oversees and monitors residential programming budget and food budget for the program.
13. Ensures all required documentation is completed by residential staff; provides training to staff on the completion of required documentation, including client logs, intervention reports, etc.
14. Oversees the implementation of and compliance with medication policies, procedures and practices.
15. Communicates all relevant information and interface with educational, clinical, and support services as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
16. Participates in a variety of clinical, management, treatment, and CQI team meetings.
17. Provides leadership for program staff by direct involvement and coaching others to participate in major agency initiatives such as fundraising, accreditation, licensing/approval studies and other program development activities.
18. Perform other related duties as required.
EDUCATION:
Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years relevant experience and previous supervisory experience.
POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to participate in all aspects of Safety-Care.
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
Required to drive on St. Vincent's business. Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, appropriate insurance coverage and successful completion of St. Vincent's Driver Safety Training.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
