Expectations of this position: · Attentively listen to pre-shift meeting conducted by management · Provide professional, friendly and caring customer service. · Ability to multitask and prioritize timing of service. · Perform running side work. · Demonstrate upselling and suggestive selling to guests. · Ability to work with POS/ Toast system. · Ability to handle cash/credit accurately. · Maintain a safe and clean working environment. · Open bottled wine for guests. · Perform set up and breakdown of various stations (i.e., expo server stations, coffee stations). · Communicate with staff and management · Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, · Maintain positive guest relations at all times. · Extensive knowledge of our menu with the ability to explain ingredients in detail to guests · Demonstrate knowledge of wine service, alcohol service, coffee service and food service. · Adherence to grooming/uniform policy · Effective communication skills. · Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings and nights Expectations of all Haven employees, regardless of position include: · Present him/herself professionally, e.g. clean uniform, well groomed. · Must be able to stand and work at a fast pace for long periods of time. · Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly throughout the shift. · Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings and/or nights.
