Job Description Job Title:Mechanic Location:Nashville, TN Shift:Day Shift but must be flexible on schedule Employment Type:6 month contract to full time hireMust Haves: Heavy equipment maintenance and repair experience or industrial mechanic experience Hydraulic systems troubleshooting Mechanical diagnostics and repair Preventative maintenance experience Ability to read schematics and technical drawings Experience with construction, mining, tunneling, industrial, or large mobile equipment Welding and fabrication experience preferred Diesel equipment experience preferredRequirements: Perform maintenance and repairs on Tunnel Boring Machines Diagnose and repair conveyors, support gear, hydraulic circuits, cutterheads Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Conduct preventative maintenance inspections Replace and repair worn components Respond to equipment breakdowns Support tunneling operations to minimize downtime Maintain maintenance records and documentation Work safely in active construction environmentsCompany DescriptionBlueWave specializes in recruiting high-performing team members for technology, marketing, federal services, and leadership roles.
