MuleSoft Integration Developer / Consultant
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MuleSoft Integration Developer/Consultant to support enterprise integration initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API development, system integrations, and data transformation. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegration Development & MaintenanceDesign, develop, implement, and maintain integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.Build, test, and deploy secure, scalable APIs and integration solutions.Develop and maintain integration flows, connectors, and reusable components.Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.API Development & Service IntegrationDevelop and integrate RESTful and SOAP-based services.Configure, consume, and manage APIs across multiple enterprise systems.Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and routing based on business requirements.Ensure API security, governance, and best practices are followed.Database & Data ManagementWrite and optimize SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and database operations.Support integration workflows through efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with project specifications.Collaboration & Solution DeliveryCollaborate closely with development, QA, product, business, and cross-functional teams.Participate in technical design discussions and solution architecture reviews.Provide recommendations for integration strategies, enhancements, and issue resolution.Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and production support.Professional StandardsApply strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to complex integration challenges.Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members in English.Demonstrate a proactive learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies and business requirements.Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and development best practices.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Experience developing integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and integration patterns.Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web services.Experience with DataWeave, API design, and message transformation.Strong SQL and database management skills.Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving integration-related issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsMuleSoft Certifications (MuleSoft Certified Developer or related credentials).Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven integrations.Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Technical SkillsMuleSoft Anypoint PlatformDataWeaveREST APIs & SOAP Web ServicesSQL & Relational DatabasesAPI Management & SecurityJSON, XML, XSDGit Version ControlDocker (Preferred)AWS / Azure / GCP (Preferred)Microservices Architecture (Preferred)Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communicationTeam collaboration and stakeholder managementAbility to work independently and in a fast-paced environmentContinuous learning and adaptabilityNice-to-HaveMuleSoft certificationsAdvanced integration architecture experienceExperience supporting enterprise-scale integration ecosystemsDomain expertise in enterprise application integration, cloud integrations, or digital transformation initiatives
