Job Description Pay: From $21.00 per hourJob description:Wage: $21Hours 7am to 4pm M-FLocation: Livermore, CAOverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Material Handler to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various heavy equipment safely and effectively. As a key contributor to our supply chain process, you will support shipping and receiving activities, order picking, and inventory management to uphold high standards of safety and productivity.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload materials using appropriate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks, adhering to OSHA safety standards.Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory movements.Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing pick techniques and order picker equipment.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to facilitate efficient materials handling and ensure safety compliance.Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while following proper ergonomic practices.Support inventory control efforts through regular cycle counts and stock replenishment activities.Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve workflow efficiency.Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.Follow all OSHA regulations and company policies related to warehouse safety protocols.QualificationsProven experience in warehouse distribution, materials handling, or related roles within a warehouse environment.High School Diploma/ GEDPLEASE NOTE: All calls regarding this position will come from a 414 area code.
