This transition brings together the strengths, expertise, and shared commitment to making clean energy simpler and more accessible for everyone.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Crew Lead to oversee and coordinate the installation of solar energy systems. As a Solar Crew Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team of 2-4 individuals, ensuring safe work practices, maintaining quality standards, and meeting project deadlines. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will be essential in delivering successful solar installations and contributing to the growth of our renewable energy initiatives.Essential Duties:Supervise and lead a crew of 2-4 installers dailyMaintain heightened awareness of safety risks and implement appropriate ORM proceduresEnsure quick and efficient installation of systems while providing excellent customer serviceAbility to spend time with a customer explaining the work and system to be installedCoordinate with fleet management as neededEnsure that job sites are clean and presentable during and after installationMotivate and support install crew and resolve concerns as neededKey Competencies: 1+ years of experience with residential or commercial solar installationExperience as a lead, as well as experience working with AC wiring preferredMust be familiar with PV systems and varied install locations and troubleshootingMust possess prior site construction experience and familiarity with construction site safety practicesPossession of a valid driver's license requiredAbility to lift, climb, balance, stoop, and kneelMust be comfortable working at heights in various weather and roof conditionsCompliant with OSHA standardsWork is primarily conducted at our customers' homes in the local area, but occasional travel is required. Periodic weekend or evening work may also be required, depending on the workload.
