Loading Dock OperatorKENT Nutrition Group, Inc., a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family of companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Loading Dock Operator at our Mason, MI plant. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and shipment of products while supporting safe and effective warehouse operations. This full-time, 1st shift position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and offers a competitive wage, opportunities for career growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Fill out accurate receiving log for all packaging and raw materialsRotate stock for first in first out usage and/or shipmentsConsult with Shipping or Receiving Supervisor for required materialsAdvise Quality Control daily of any problems with ingredients or finished goodsInspect trailers for sanitation using BB Trailer Inspection formAdvise Shipping/Receiving Supervisor of any shortages, damages, etc.Keep Warehouse aisles clean of debris, boxes, pallets, etc.Repair or destroy any damaged ingredients or finished products as directed. If destroyed, report type, quantity, resource and lot numbers and location to Shipping/Receiving SupervisorMaintain forklifts with proper charging and water in batteryMaintain adequate records of receiving and/or shippingDo monthly cycle counts on various items per managementDo physical counts as instructed per managementOther duties as assigned by Plant ManagementQUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of OSHA safety requirementsBasic computer knowledgeGood communication, verbal, written and math skillsWork and cooperate with all fellow employeesThorough understanding of cGMP'sKnowledge of HACCP Feed & Food Safety PlanKnowledge of FSMAAbility to operate a forkliftPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to safely lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to working height, as job requiresAbility to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperaturesAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen and physicalEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
