Our district covers 119 square miles and is comprised of five townships and five villages.Role DescriptionThis is a temporary, on-site role as High School Building Substitute located in Lodi, OH. The High School Building Substitute will cover various classrooms and subjects as needed, help support the students' educational and social needs, follow school's lesson plans, maintain order and discipline in the classroom, and maintain all records as required. The Middle School Building Substitute works closely with the school administration, fellow teachers, support staff, and parents to provide the best educational experience possible for the students.QualificationsBachelor's degree in education or related field preferred, but not requiredActive substitute teaching license requiredExperience working with middle school studentsExcellent interpersonal skills and communication skillsAbility to follow detailed instructions and lesson plansAbility to maintain a positive learning environment while adapting to different teaching styles and subjectsMust pass required Ohio BCI/FBI background checkBuilding substitutes are scheduled 4-5 days per week on days when school is in session. Pay is at the building substitute teacher rate of $125.00/day.To be considered for a building substitute position, candidates must first apply through the Medina County Educational Service Center and be board-approved by the Cloverleaf Board of Education as a substitute teacher.
