CNC Programmer/Machinist Manager

We are seeking a CNC Department Manager for our first shift team. Pervan is an aerospace machining company specializing in sheet metal, hydroforming, CNC punching, routing, brake forming, water jet, machining and assemblies. Responsibilities: Manage a small team of programmers, machinists, and operators Program, set up, and operate Haas 3 & 5 axis machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes and improve overall efficiency Adhere to safety policy including PPE (safety shoes, earplugs, and safety glasses required in the shop) Requirements: 20+ years CNC Programming & Machining 15+ years with Haas 3 & 5 axis machines 10+ years dynamic machining 20+ years Mastercam software 5+ years Verisurf software 5+ years experience managing a CNC team Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English to colleagues and management Knowledge of automation methods and increasing productivity Engineering background preferred Tool and die fabrication experience preferred Aerospace industry experience preferred Ability to pass basic shop math test Ability to demonstrate programming & machining skills during interview Availability for first shift (7am-3:30pm) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Experience: CNC programming: 10 years (Required) CNC: 10 years (Required) Team management: 5 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Compton, CA 90220 (Required) Work Location: In person
