Job # PR26007Job Title Marketing Event SpecialistOffice Location Houston, Texas preferredBusiness Function /Department MarketingSales Territory, if applicable N/AGeneral Role DescriptionOrganize and manage the Company's trade shows to meet the marketing program and branding objectivesRole Accountabilities Facilitate the identification of trade shows and marketing messaging and tactics, and secure approvals, in collaboration with business unit (BU) and other marketing team members Lead the pre-show planning as approved Prepare post-show reports for BU and Marketing leadership Secure and maintain lead retrieval during shows Ensure trade show organizers, booth fabricators/display companies, and other external providers meet all agreed deliverables per design Monitor schedule, shipping, import/export compliance, and logistics for all marketing and trade show related goods and services; resolve or escalate issues, as necessary Maintain booth schedule for BU use Coordinate with the Creative Manager to ensure sufficient inventory of approved promotional items for use at events is available Ensure trade show inventory of displays, banners, and graphics are accounted for at all times Plan and execute internal employee events as requested by leadership as appropriate Ensure attendees are notified of requirements for full and timely registration and ensure the registration of those who meet the requirementsGeneral Employee Accountabilities Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager Give manager best advice Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws Recommend viable improvements proactively Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processesRequirementsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field, and/or equivalent experience2 years' experience in a marketing, communications or marketing events roleDemonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contactsDemonstrated successful positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skillsDemonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibilityProficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)Availability to travel domestically, up to approximately 10%, and internationally, up to approximately 5%, sometimes on short noticePreferred Qualifications 5 years' experience working in the power electronics or other capital equipment industries in any combination of the metals, material handling, renewable energy systems, paper, or related general industries Proficiency in current design software including Adobe Creative Cloud apps (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Link to TMEIC Corporation Americas website: https://www.tmeic.com/.
