Job Title: Financial Analyst IIILocation: West Hills, CA 91304Duration: 12 monthsPay Range: $40 to $45.00/hr on W2Shift Time: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (Flexible), 40 hours per week, 100% On-SiteJob Description:MUST HAVE SKILLSEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting Experience: 3+ years of strong analytical experience in financial planning, business analysis Key Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Superior communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization Positive "can-do" attitude with a strong focus on implementing change Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Well-organized with strong time management skills Ability to work independently while being part of a larger team to identify, analyze, and solve business problems Responsibilities:Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance, cost, profitability, and trend analysis Identify key financial performance drivers and provide insights to support decision-making Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts Collaborate with internal partners to gather relevant data and ensure accuracy in financial projections Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies Workflow & Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost reduction Analyze operational data to optimize resource allocation and streamline workflows Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to support business planning and investment decision-making Evaluate the financial impact of various initiatives and recommend optimization strategies Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial health and operational performance Develop dashboards and reports to monitor performance and communicate results Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments to gather financial data and provide insights into business operations Support management in making informed decisions to drive operational excellence Skills That Will Help You Excel:Advanced knowledge of Excel, especially Vlookups and pivot tables Strong analytical and financial modeling skills Experience with PLN, HFM, SAP, SQL, or similar tools Comfort with large datasets and presenting findings to senior management Fluency with standard finance systems (Oracle, Hyperion, CMR, SAP, SQL, Smartview) Proactive in identifying opportunities for operational change and system enhancements
