Electrical Technician – Control Panel & Custom Machine Assembly

We seek an experienced, quality-driven *Electrical Technician* to join our team. *Job Overview:* We are hiring an *Electrical Technician* to join our fabrication and assembly team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in *control panel building*, *machine wiring*, and *electrical troubleshooting*. You’ll work hands-on with a variety of electrical components and systems in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. *Responsibilities:* * Assemble and wire control panels from electrical schematics and layout drawings * Wire custom machinery per project specifications and NEC codes * Perform I/O checks, continuity tests, and assist in system debugging * Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and bills of materials * Document work and communicate discrepancies or changes to engineering * Support occasional onsite installations and commissioning * Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with UL 508A, NFPA 79, and NEC standards *Qualifications:* * Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience * 2+ years of experience in control panel or industrial electrical work * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics * Familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, relays, terminal blocks, and sensors * Skilled in use of hand and power tools for wiring and assembly * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently *Preferred Qualifications:* * Experience with UL 508A panel building * Familiarity with automation systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) * Field service or machine start-up experience *Physical Requirements:* * Lift up to 50 lbs. * Work in standing or bending positions for extended periods * Use ladders and hand tools in a manufacturing environment Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
