Electrical Engineer

Job SummaryIn this role, you will work as an Electrical Engineer supporting a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment. You will be a key contributor responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining electrical designs and wire harness documentation, with a strong emphasis on Zuken E3, which makes up the majority of the role.This position is software-heavy and design-focused, requiring hands-on experience working within Zuken to support ongoing development, updates, and refinements to electrical systems. Success in this role requires the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, and communicate technical information clearly. This is a hybrid role based in Ann Arbor, MI, combining focused individual design work with meaningful team interaction.Job ResponsibilitiesCreate, modify, and maintain electrical designs using Zuken E3, which accounts for approximately 80–90% of day-to-day responsibilitiesDevelop and update wire harness designs, schematics, and associated documentationSupport engineering efforts by implementing design changes to meet evolving project requirements and timelinesReview and interpret electrical designs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with engineering standardsCollaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to communicate design updates, resolve issues, and align on technical requirementsManage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, changing environmentUtilize Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.) to support documentation, communication, and coordination needsContribute to efficient design workflows and continuous improvement efforts related to electrical documentation and processes
