SAP ABAP Solution Architect

Role: SAP ABAP Solution Architect / Senior Technical LeadOpening: 1Location: Spring, TX(Onsite role)Seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Solution Architect with expertise in SAP development, architecture, S/4HANA transformations, SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5, integrations, and enterprise application modernization. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, define architecture standards, lead global development teams, and drive innovative SAP solutions aligned with business objectives.Key Responsibilities•Solution Architecture & Leadership•Define SAP technical architecture and development standards.•Lead SAP S/4HANA transformation, upgrade, migration, and modernization programs.•Provide architectural guidance for custom developments, integrations, and cloud extensions.•Review and approve technical design documents, code quality standards, and development strategies.•Collaborate with business, functional, and enterprise architecture teams.•SAP ABAP Development Expertise•Design and develop complex SAP solutions using:•OO ABAP•ABAP on HANA•CDS Views•AMDP•RAP Framework•OData Services•Fiori/UI5•Smart Forms / Adobe Forms•Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits•BAPIs, RFCs, ALE/IDOCs•Drive code optimization, performance tuning, and clean-core principles.•S/4HANA & SAP BTP•Lead S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield, and Conversion projects.•Design cloud-native extensions using SAP BTP.•Ensure alignment with SAP Clean Core strategy.•Implement side-by-side and in-app extensibility solutions.•Integration & Digital Transformation•Architect integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications.Design APIs, REST/SOAP services, EDI/IDOC interfaces, and event-driven integrations.•Work closely with cloud, middleware, and enterprise integration teams.•Team Leadership•Lead and mentor global ABAP development teams.•Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical governance sessions.•Provide effort estimations, delivery planning, and risk management.Required Skills•10+ years of SAP ABAP experience•SAP S/4HANA•ABAP on HANA•RAP Framework•CDS Views•SAP BTP•SAP Fiori/UI5•OData Services•Workflow•BRF+•SAP Integration Suite•IDOC, ALE, RFC, BAPI•REST/SOAP APIs•SAP Cloud ALMSAP Activate Methodology•Functional Exposure•MM•SD•PP•WM/EWM•LE•FI/CO•TM•Ariba (preferred)Qualifications•Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.•SAP ABAP/SAP BTP/S/4HANA certifications preferred.•Proven experience leading global SAP transformation programs.•Preferred Leadership Experience•Managing teams of 15–50 SAP consultants.•Executive stakeholder management.•Architecture Review Board participation.•Vendor and SI management.Program governance and delivery leadership.•Expected Deliverables•Solution Architecture Documents•Technical Design Documents (TDD)•Development Standards & Governance•Integration Architecture Designs•Migration & Conversion Strategy•Technical Risk Assessments•Performance Optimization Plans
