Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a public elementary school serving students from Pre-K through 6th grade in the northern suburbs of Denver, Colorado. This diverse role offers the opportunity to work with a caseload of approximately 40 students, ranging from mild to severe speech and language needs, including about 10 Pre-Kindergarten students. The SLP will provide evaluations, service plans, and direct speech therapy, while managing cases for students whose Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) include speech services exclusively. Monthly speech minutes are required in this role.Key responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Delivering direct therapy to students with varied needs Managing case files and maintaining documentation for students with speech-only IEPs Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to support student progressCandidates must be fluent in both English and Spanish to meet the needs of the bilingual student population. A current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential is required; those in the process of obtaining this certification must provide a status update. The district offers supervision for Clinical Fellows (CF) but does not accept SLP Assistants (SLPAs) or authorized leave providers. The school is committed to a thorough hiring process consisting of a two-step interview: an initial screening via Microsoft Teams with the director of integrated services, followed by a panel interview which may be conducted in person or virtually.This position is based in Englewood, CO, within a smaller school district known for its inclusive and supportive environment.
