We need your help.We are seeking a space domain expert to support the Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP) / Space Domain Awareness division to perform on-site analysis. This position will require in-office work at the customer site five days a week.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct on-site Space Domain Awareness (SDA) analytical supportPerform analysis that informs ongoing studies and force design effortsCollaborate directly with government sponsors and a diverse contractor teamExecute rapid, quick-turn analytical tasks in support of mission needsDevelop minimally viable prototypes to support analytical findings and conceptsAnalyze and evaluate SDA systems-of-systems, including their design and operationBring a deep understanding of SDA architectures, capabilities, and operational conceptsIdentify novel opportunities and innovative approaches related to SDACommunicate analytical findings and insights to senior leadership and decision makersSupport efforts that inform senior leaders and acquisition agencies on current and future mission needsRequired Skills:TS/SCI w/Poly (Have an existing poly or be willing to submit to a poly)10+ years' experience with DoW or commercial SDA systemsBachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or other technical field with demonstrated experience analyzing and reporting on large datasetsNotional understanding of space domain awareness or space operations, with an interest in the underlying operation of SDA systemsAnalysis language skills: Python, MATLAB, RDesired Skills:Master of Science degree in related engineering fieldExtensive experience with statistics and statistical modeling (including the use of analysis languages previously mentioned)Extensive software development experience including DevSecOps tooling; prior experience developing and deploying software on TS/SCI systemsExperience with and deep understanding of statistical estimation and astrodynamics / orbit determinationSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
