We use our expertise to design, install and construct sustainable solutions with environmental, social, and economic benefits.Our VisionInnovation for better living.Job PurposeRegional Technical Managers (RTMs) are Langley’s on-site technical leads, responsible for delivering inspections, supporting contractors, managing quality, and resolving issues throughout the lifecycle of a project.Each RTM is embedded within a sales region, working alongside the Regional Sales Manager and team to provide hands-on technical support. They lead project pre-start meetings, carry out site inspections, and act as the technical authority on live and completed projects. Where needed, multiple RTMs may be allocated to the same region to support workload demands.RTMs ensure that Langley’s specifications are followed, site activity is monitored, and any aftercare or quality concerns are addressed. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where professionalism, accountability, and expertise are essential.Key AccountabilitiesSupport Handovers: Attend pre-start meetings and support seamless handover from sales to delivery.Risk Review: Conduct technical risk reviews ahead of work commencement.Peer Review Specifications: Provide peer review for specification proposals.Installation Inspection and Testing:Carry out inspections at key stages during installation.Perform bond testing and installation checks as required.On-site Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support for surveys and installation queries.Inspections and Technical Competence:Lead contractor onboarding inspections and verify technical competence.Investigate site-specific issues, product defects, or workmanship concerns.Conduct defect investigations and issue follow-up.Aftercare: Manage aftercare issues after project completion. Guarantee Systems: Carry out annual roof health checks for 30-year guarantee systems.Representing the Company: Represent Langley professionally on-site, promoting high standards and technical integrity:Attend regional team meetings and act as the technical representative.Participate in contractor engagement and entertainment events.Maintain regular communication with the sales team and provide project updates.This role profile outlines the key responsibilities expected for the position but is not intended to be an exhaustive or definitive list.
