This role supports HVAC, mechanical, and building systems by installing control wiring, power distribution, and electrical equipment in accordance with applicable codes and company standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesPlan layouts and install electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilitiesInstall and service control wiring and electrical equipment supporting HVAC and mechanical systemsRead and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagramsBend and install conduit in a clean, professional, and code‑compliant mannerPerform electrical load calculations and equipment replacementsTroubleshoot electrical systems and controls efficiently and safelyMinimize material waste while ensuring accessibility for future maintenanceMaintain wiring practices that are safe, reliable, and visually professionalOperate lifts and material‑handling equipment safely, including:Scissor liftsBoom liftsForkliftsCommunicate clearly with customers and internal team membersMaintain a professional appearance and represent the company well on job sitesFollow all safety policies, electrical codes, and jobsite requirementsReports ToElectrical / Project Supervisor (as assigned)Required QualificationsActive TDLR Journeyman Electrician LicenseMinimum 4 years of electrical experienceValid driver's license with an insurable driving recordAbility to pass background check and drug screeningStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematicsWorking knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systemsFamiliarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniquesStrong understanding of electrical codes and safe installation practicesAdvanced customer service and communication skillsWillingness to take responsibility and demonstrate ownership of workDesire to continue developing skills and grow within the tradeWhy Work at West TechsCompetitive journeyman‑level paySteady commercial and industrial workWell‑equipped jobsites and professional standardsTeam‑focused culture with high accountabilityOpportunity to work alongside HVAC, BAS, and mechanical teams on complex systemsSalary: $40 - $50 per hour
