Job DescriptionQuality Technician 1 (Full-Time )Role Summary/Purpose:The Quality Technician will be responsible for defined work or projects of incoming and outgoing products or materials for a company. In this role, you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. Also, you will be tasked to conduct testing, measurements and overseeing production processes.Essential Responsibilities:Be proficient in inspecting all areas such as incoming, in-process inspection, and final inspection for all product lines. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations. Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services. Knowledge of QMS system and assist with document control. Develop reports analyzing top defect trends both internal and external. Measure product dimensions examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications. Perform incoming inspection on selected and identified products. Accurately utilize measuring equipment to ensure correct products measurements. Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner. Perform, document, and report out on incoming inspections on critical or identified parts. Assist with preparation, scheduling and conducting of internal quality audits. Report any accidents or injuries while on the job. Report any product issues to management that may affect functionality. Lead any other project/activity based on the business need, assigned by manager.
