The role requires perioperative circulator experience, with assignments designed to support the OR team on a temporary basis through a fixed 13-week contract.Key Highlights Weekly pay: 2,123–2,259 USD per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 Days Start date: 06/01/2026 Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital operating room On-call requirements: 1–2 times during the week (Mon–Thu) and every 4th–5th weekend; weekend coverage from 3:30 pm Friday to 7:00 am MondayResponsibilities Provide OR circulator coverage, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures Prepare ORs, assist the surgical team, manage instruments and equipment, and track counts of instruments, sponges, and needles Position patients appropriately, monitor intraoperative status, and respond to any intraoperative changes or emergencies Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub staff to optimize operative flow and turnover between cases Document operative events, equipment usage, and patient responses in accordance with policy and regulatory standardsRequirements Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with minimum 2 years circulator experience Travel experience preferred Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required On-call schedule: 1–2 calls per week (Mon–Thu) and every 4th–5th weekend; weekend call coverage is from 3:30 pm Friday until 7:00 am Monday On-call proximity: candidate must be located within 15 minutes of the facility when on call Local travelers within 50 miles accepted with a bill rate decrease Previous staff members will not be considered as travelers Schedule requirement: strictly 5/8s Duration: 13 contract weeksBenefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Credentialing and onboarding assistance Dedicated assignment support throughout the travel period Nationwide assignments and relocation optionsFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please apply at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
