Logistics Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee the our Shipping and Logistics Department. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of shipping and receiving of materials and shipping out of goods. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. The logistics Coordinator manages the supply chain operations. They are responsible to ensure all goods are distributed cost-effectively. They should have appropriate experience in supply chain management. It is the responsibility of a logistics coordinator to arrange transportation and provide proper solutions for storage. They require a proper product life cycle to work as a logistic coordinator. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we’d like to talk to you. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Must negotiate with the suppliers to manage the supply chain.
They should have the ability to think ahead.
The coordinator also needs proper analytical skills to work as a logistics coordinator.

Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
Ensure shipments are received and documented
Enforce health and safety precautions
Report to upper management

Skills
Proven experience with Logistics
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to negotiate shipping rates
Expert at JIT inventory process
Critical thinking skills a must
Ability to multitask
Deep knowledge of shipping and receiving
Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
Outstanding communication ability
Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
Attention to detail
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
