Resupply Manager - Respiratory
Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionThis position is hands-on, and the Manager will oversee the patient re-supply orders for the assigned area ensuring timely and accurate submission of re-supply purchase orders and the payor required authorization/documentation. The Resupply Manager will also provide training and support for re-supply staff as assigned and ensure adherence to both internal and external policies and regulations.Reports to: Director, Customer ServiceJob Type: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri on a hybrid scheduleJob Location: Hybrid 2 days per week and 3 days per week working remotely in one of the following locations: Concord, NC, King of Prussia, PA or Dania Beach, FLRequirementsBachelor’s degree preferred or comparable equivalent and related experience Previous experience in DME is requiredPatient Admissions and Re-Supply knowledge is requiredAppropriate computer skills for the position (Microsoft Office Suite) and areas of influence, Brightree experience is requiredStrong work ethics and the desire to lead by example, with attention to detail and quality, are requiredAbility to deal directly with staff on policy or performance related issues Participating in the after-hours on-call manager rotation up to 3 months a year is requiredJob Responsibilities, Included But Not Limited ToTakes ownership of Hi-Tech staff, Hi-Tech referrals and Hi-Tech patient population under assigned areaReview PAR and CMN submission/logging guidelines to address issues, ensure problems are escalated as necessaryMaintain and update shared documentation to assist the Sales Department with the various policies rules and limitations for insurance plans. Manage assigned staff by providing timely and regular feedback on processes, compliance, performance and attendanceEnsure staff performs proper follow-up on new and existing patient accountsOversee all aspects of the processes related to patient admissions and re-supply orders, including projects, problem and issues escalation, denials management and researchUnderstand and communicate changes in payor guidelines and policies and be able to effectively implement themActively pursues continuous improvement of both self and departmental processesOther duties as assignedPhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
