Lead as a role model for good manufacturing practices, adherence to processes and procedures, and report issues such as non-conforming events to Shift Supervisor.Work Location/ScheduleThis position requires the employee to be onsite at our VitalPath Maplewood, MN location.Shift/Schedule: Second Shift - Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am (4x10 hour days)VitalPath does not offer relocation assistance for this position.ResponsibilitiesIn charge of on-the-job training on an as needed basis and responsible for leading a teamRequesting material for team and material verificationAssist team in manufacturing parts and/or troubleshooting when neededResponsible for returning all material when project completedResponsible for Quality - 100% adherence to the manufacturing process requirements, such as daily in-process inspection and documentation controlAssist in root cause investigation of nonconforming products and supplier corrective action as assignedEnsure proper cGMP, such as labeling and documentationConducting daily in-process inspectionCollect and report data to Shift Supervisor and expected to manufacture 75% of the timeTake initiative to find work when necessary and identify continuous improvement initiative and working with Shift SupervisorAdditional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent or related work experience and/or trainingUnderstand basic blueprints/specifications preferredGeneral math skills with metric conversions preferred1 to 3 years of medical device experience in clean roomWorking knowledge of ISO 13485 and cGMP preferredLifting and moving up to 50lbs, must be able to work with a microscope, and sit for an extended period of time.Preferred QualificationsMust be willing to work in team environments and promote teamwork among othersDemonstrate a clear understanding of safety and documentationBasic computer skills: Excel, WordProficient in reading, writing, and speaking English preferredCompensation PackageThe hourly range for this position is $21.99 - $27 + $1 shift differential.
