Trade Compliance AnalystStarkville, Mississippi | Full-TimeA growing aerospace and advanced manufacturing organization in Starkville is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to support export compliance operations in a highly regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage export compliance activities in accordance with EAR, ITAR, U.S. Customs, and OFAC regulationsClassify products, components, and technical data under applicable export control regulationsPrepare and review export documentation (commercial invoices, EEI/SED filings, bills of lading, certificates of origin)Coordinate export license applications and ensure compliance with license provisosConduct restricted party screenings and maintain audit-ready recordsPartner with engineering, supply chain, contracts, and program teams to ensure compliant shipmentsSupport internal and external compliance auditsMaintain records in line with regulatory retention requirementsProvide internal guidance and training on trade compliance mattersIdentify and mitigate compliance risksRequired Qualifications:Export Customs Specialist Certificate or Export Specialist Certificate (required)3–7 years of experience in export/trade compliance within aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturingStrong working knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulationsExperience with ERP systems and export compliance softwareExcellent attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred:Experience supporting defense contracts or handling controlled technical dataKnowledge of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classificationsExperience supporting government audits or voluntary disclosuresBachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
