Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, with Epic proficiency required and a preference for 10-hour day shifts.Job Details• Short-term acute care hospital with 536 total staff beds,• OT Acute Care unit with potential float to any unit within the same facility as needed,• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts preferred (7:00-17:00); some flexibility for 8-hour shifts,• 3 weekend days required per month on a rotation schedule,• One holiday shift required per year,• 1:1 patient ratio,• Epic EMR required,• Scrubs: any color accepted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided by the facility,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active OT license required; OR license required if applicable,• Minimum 2 years of OT experience required,• Epic EMR proficiency required,• Acute care experience required,• BLS certification required,• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,Additional Information• Teaching hospital environment,• Float coverage may be required across units within the same facility; training will be provided for unfamiliar units,• First-time travelers will be considered for this position,• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility,• All requested time off must be disclosed prior to submission; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied,• Minimal RTO is expected for this position,• No on-call required,
