Position OverviewWe are seeking a Full-Time Contract Specialist to support the U.S. Coast Guard’s Aids to Navigation (ATON) Program. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective execution and administration of federal contracts that support safe and reliable waterways.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Contracting Officers with acquisition planning and executionConduct market research for procurement actionsDevelop and issue RFPs, RFQs, and solicitationsEvaluate proposals and assist in source selection activitiesPerform cost and price analysis and support negotiationsAssist with contract administration, including modifications and complianceProcess invoices and support payment activitiesPerform contract closeout activitiesTrack milestones and provide progress updatesRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of federal contracting experience (GS-1102 or equivalent) FAC-C Professional Certification (or equivalent)Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)Experience in both pre-award and post-award contractingStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsWork EnvironmentOn-site work at U.S. Coast Guard, Norfolk, VA Standard business hours with occasional extended hours as neededNo travel required Powered by JazzHRwuftP5cf0m
