We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Office Manager/Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and keep the office running smoothly.Position OverviewThis role combines day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities with general office management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and experienced in construction-related accounting processes. Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Financial ManagementManage accounts payable and accounts receivableProcess invoices, vendor payments, and client billingReconcile bank and credit card statementsMaintain accurate financial records and job cost trackingAssist with payroll processing and subcontractor paymentsPrepare financial reports for management and accountantSupport budgeting and cost control effortsOffice ManagementOversee daily office operations and administrative tasksMaintain project files, contracts, and documentationCoordinate with project managers, vendors, and clientsManage insurance certificates, permits, and compliance documentationOrder office supplies and maintain organized systemsAssist with scheduling and general communicationsQualifications3+ years of bookkeeping experience (construction industry preferred)Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)Strong understanding of job costing and construction workflowsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication skills and attention to detailAbility to handle confidential information with discretionProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePaid time off and holidaysFlexible work environmentOpportunity to grow with a respected local builderHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience to Bill@Laplanteconstruction.com.
