The Staff Accountant will perform a variety of generalized aspects of accounting within the company, including reconciliation tasks, day to day, monthly and year end tasks, obligation tracking and assisting in preparation of financial statements. A successful candidate will possess excellent data analysis, start-up flexibility, superior time management and prioritization skills. We are seeking a reliable, autonomous and communicative team player who "gets things done" and is willing to learn and grow with Curative.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRecords claim payable and accounts receivable transactions in Accounting ERP systemReconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balancesPrepares monthly reconciliations for various accounts, including accounts receivable, pharmacy accruals, and claims bank accounts.Assist in the preparation of statutory reporting financial statements for insurance companiesSupports improvements to financial processes and procedures, including implementation of Model Audit Rule internal controls.Participates in special projects and external/internal audits as requiredThis position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
