Control Engineering Manager

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science 8+ years of industry experience in industrial automation or controls engineering with at least 3 years of leadership or management experienceMust be proficient in PLC Programming, HMI Development, SCADA Systems, Control Panel and Electrical Systems DesignExperienced taking automation projects from concept development through to commissioningAbility to lead a cross-functional engineering team throughout project phases spanning estimates, scope development, and final release of systems designMust be comfortable in a customer-facing role and able to create and develop long-lasting client relationshipsPrevious experience providing quotes and involvement throughout engineering sales process is an advantageElectrical systems design experience such as interconnect diagrams and control panel layouts helpful but not requiredResponsibilities: Lead a team of controls and data engineers through complex industrial automation projects for clients in an array of industries, including biotechnology, medical device, and renewable energyProvide technical input throughout architecture development, programming, testing, and commissioningResponsible for operational execution including schedule, budget, forecasting, project marginsWork with sales team on estimates, proposals, and scope developmentBusiness development involvement will include developing relationships with existing customer and identifying new leads - utilizing knowledge of technology trends to establish credibilityManage multiple projects while also developing and coaching your engineering staff
