Manufacturing CSR and Sales Support
Job Description:Our client, a small specialty chemical distributor based in Media, PA, is currently seeking an experienced Sales Support and Customer Service Representative to join their growing team.This is a full-time, permanent position requiring onsite work (Monday-Friday) at our client's headquarters, in Media, PA.Position Summary: Responsible for providing high level operational and administrative support for the sale and distribution of our client's products. More specifically, this role coordinates customer orders, inventory, logistics, supplier relationships, and financial documentation to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced operational environment with exceptional multitasking and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments, customers, and vendors are required for success.Specific DutiesProcess and manage customer purchase ordersCoordinate with sales team, warehouses, carriers, and customers to determine freight and transportation costsMaintain accurate order documentation and administrative recordsProvide timely updates to customers regarding order status and delivery schedulesSupport internal teams with operational and logistics informationAssist with administrative reporting and documentation as requiredResponsibilitiesReceive, review, and process customer purchase orders accuratelyEnter and manage orders within company systems including Datacor and SalesforceAnswer inbound calls and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel in a timely and professional mannerEnsure timely and accurate documentation including BOL, COA , invoices, and shipping paperworkWork with management to maintain appropriate inventory levels for key products at warehouse locationsCoordinate with suppliers to replenish inventory based on customer demand and sales forecastsReview warehouse invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepanciesCoordinate deliveries from suppliers or warehouses to customers through an established logistics networkWork with freight carriers, brokers, and warehouses to arrange cost effective and timely transportationEnsure carriers meet requirements including HAZMAT compliance when applicableManage domestic and international freight movements including coordination of documentation and shipping requirementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and logistics providersEnsure correct pricing and commercial terms are applied to purchase orders and invoicesAssist with coordination of accounts payable to suppliers and receivables from customersRequirements: 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, logistics coordination, or operationsExperience with ERP and CRM systems; Datacor and Salesforce, preferredExperience working in the chemical distribution or chemical manufacturing industry, preferredExperience with freight coordination, customs documentation, and supply chain logistics preferredMicrosoft Office including Excel and general PC proficiencyStrong communication and active listening skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneouslyStrong problem solving and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment with strong attention to detail and accuracyBenefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Paid Time OffShort Term and Long-Term DisabilityEqual Opportunity EmployerOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
