Mission Statement: Grace’s Table (GT) walks alongside teen moms from isolation to community and support them as they reach their full potential.
Position Title: Program Manager
Reports To: Director of Programs and Operations
Department: Program
Salary Range: $37,000 - $45,000
Work Environment: This role is expected to work a regularly scheduled 40 hours/week onsite, with occasional evening events.
Position Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for the supervision and oversight of the Family Advocates (FAs) as they work with teen mamas in GT’s peer-support and life skill programming. The Program Manager will ensure their supervised Family Advocates are fully prepared and are supported to execute program. They will be responsible for managing the Community Connections plan to ensure Grace’s Table has strong connections in the community for care of our mamas. They will oversee the Empowerment Program to promote connection and skill development at GT.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Lead meetings with the FAs, reviewing upcoming curriculum and case needs
Provide guidance and leadership for FAs
Ensure that all evening programs are running efficiently
Support the Mentor Matching process, working with the Volunteer Coordinator and FAs
Lead FAs in implementing GT Life Skills and peer-support programming
Develop and maintain relationships with county human services, remain current on human service regulations and offerings.
Develop and oversee opportunities to connect with teen mamas outside of GT
Lead the Community Connection plan
Have ongoing awareness of how programming is meeting mamas needs and suggesting solutions or new ideas to better meet mamas needs
Lead the creation of and the execution of special events for mamas such as Mother’s Day and the Christmas Party.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Promote the values of Grace’s Table throughout the organization and in the community.
Attend team and organizational meetings, activities, trainings, and events.
Collaborate with the Grace’s Table staff and perform job duties to advance the organization’s mission.
Support and appreciate volunteers.
Demonstrate the ability to work in a team and work independently.
Comply with all organizations policies and procedures.
Supervisory Duties: Family Advocates
Requirements:
Two years of management experience
3-5 years of case management experience
Strong leadership and critical thinking skills
Strong facilitation skills
Must pass rigorous background checks
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
Exercise good judgement in a variety of situations
Flexible and adaptable
Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously
Desired Skills and attributes:
Experience working with at-risk populations
Organized and detail oriented
Comfortable working with Microsoft Teams and Google Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Program and curriculum development experience
