We are currently seeking a Optometrist to join our Optometry team and support the company's mission of providing preeminent eye care in our communities.As an optometrist, you will be expected to use your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality vision care to our current and new patients. Your duties will include conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and determining and advising patients on their overall vision health.Optometrist Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage patient care with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipmentProvide comprehensive eye care (medical and routine) to patients of all agesEducate patients on their visual and medical conditionsMake recommendations on vision and eye health enhancing solutionsWork with a support team of professional technicians and opticiansComplete electronic health recordsWork in a team based environmentRequirementsOptometrist Requirements and QualificationsDoctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institutionState of IL Doctor of Optometry LicensePatient focused with a commitment to strong outcomesExcellent clinical and communication skillsAbility to work both independently and a part of a teamProficiency with electronic health records software (EHR) and optical equipmentWork Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
