Power Systems Engineer

Job Title : Power Systems Engineer Location : Houston, TX (Onsite) Duration : Full Time Description: · Power System Analysis & Design Specialist recognized as an expert in the field of system analysis and design. · The candidate shall provide technical expertise and support to Saudi Aramco Engineering in the development of facility designs, power system studies, protection, and solutions to unusual operating and maintenance problems. · The candidate shall have knowledge of special studies such as but not limited to harmonics, switching transient, and stability. · Hands on experience on ETAP or equivalent tool for 3 to 4 years. · The applicant role includes identifying pertinent new technologies to enhance · company profitability and productivity. · The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and incorporates new, cost-effective solutions in design through Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and Design Best Practices. · Represents the Company in industry joint programs to improve designs and specifications. Participates as a technical expert or arbitrator in Contract disputes. · Undertake special assignments requiring extensive technical experience and discretion when dealing with outside organizations. Basic Candidate Qualifications: · The successful candidate will have the following experience and competencies: · Bachelor in Electrical Engineering; a MS is a plus. · Minimum of 10-15 years in the area of power system analysis and design preferably in Oil and Gas. Additional preferred qualifications: · Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and networking skills. · Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally.
