Apptad - Senior SAP EDI with Transportation Management (TM) Consultant

Position Overview We are seeking a Senior SAP EDI with Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to lead the integration and optimization of SAP EDI processes within SAP TM. This role will involve configuring and implementing EDI processes for transportation and logistics, managing communications with business partners and third-party systems, and resolving EDI-related issues.Key Responsibilities:Lead design, configuration, and implementation of EDI processes in SAP TMConfigure SAP TM, including route planning, execution, and freight cost calculationsMap business requirements to EDI solutions and work with stakeholders to ensure alignmentTroubleshoot and resolve EDI issues, ensuring smooth data exchangeDefine data mapping and develop EDI messages (e.g., 850, 856, 940, 945)Identify process improvements within SAP TM and EDI systemsProvide training and mentorship to junior consultants and end-usersCollaborate with logistics, IT, and supply chain teamsQualifications:5+ years of SAP EDI experience with SAP TMHands-on experience with SAP PI/PO, IDocs, and external EDI platformsStrong knowledge of transportation management processes and freight cost calculationFamiliarity with EDI standards like EDIFACT, ANSI X12, and XMLExcellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skillsPreferred:Experience with SAP S/4HANA and global transportation management implementationsExperience:12-30 yearsSkills:sap, EDI, transportation
