Senior Project Field Engineer for a Construction Project

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Senior Project Field Engineer to join our team for a construction project.- Project: dock- Location: Hawaii- Estimated duration of the position: 5 years - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.-Summary: the Project Field Engineer will be in charge of planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to a schedule. The duties include upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.- Main Responsibilities:Complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.Complete technical studies and prepares cost estimates.Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.Controls project cost by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintain project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.- Shifts: Monday to Friday: 40 hours weekly.- Requirements:A minimum of 7 years experience as a Project Engineer in maritime/ concrete structures/ or similar kind of projects.Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related.-Benefits:Working for an international company currently expanding.Salary and other benefits accordingly.22 paid vacation days+ 5 working days of sick leave (100% salary).Local health insurance.Vehicle, gas, and phone are provided.Note: The description and conditions hereby indicated are intended to describe the general nature of the job developed by employees, but are not a complete list of responsibility, duties and overall competence required by the personnel.
