Inventory SpecialistKelly Services is recruiting an Inventory Management Specialist. The role will be in Santa Ana, CA. Our customer, DePuy Synthes, part of the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies, provides one of the most comprehensive Orthopedics portfolios in the world. Commercial Operations and Strategic Enablement is the conduit between the business and the sales organization, enabling sales growth objectives through ensuring appropriate resources are available and balanced throughout the US market. The Sales Network Optimization team minimizes cost to serve while prioritizing customer service levels allowing the fulfillment of current demand and enable new business.Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $28/hour Shift: Availability to work any shift Monday-Friday onsite and flexibility to work weekends. Ability to accommodate changes in the schedule including working in other shifts per operational needs is required (late or early start, and on-call on a rotating basis) Location: Onsite: Santa Ana, CA 92705 Benefits: Med/Den/Vis, 401(K), PTO, and Paid HolidaysKey ResponsibilitiesManage order fulfillment of exception-based orders coming from the field sales teams including close connection with Courier Service, receiving parties and internal clientsProactively solve backorders from our central Distribution Center in partnership with the field sales team to determine which ones need to be fulfilled by the Field Sales LocationManage warehouse inventory via close coordination with our central DCPerform in bound product verification and put away process for inventory products including, but not limited to the following: scanning inventory, completing inventory transfers in SAP, etc.Train and follow standard operation and quality procedures and work instructionsPerforming cycle count and inventory reconciliation activitiesAssists in regular inventory inspections and performs safety and quality auditsAdherence to training requirements, and health and safety regulationsWear protective clothing and equipment as requiredImplement schedule / policies / and group guidelinesLead projects as requiredFlexible to other tasks as priorities shiftResponsible for GDP (Good documentation practices)Qualifications:Education:Minimum High School and/or equivalent degreeBachelor's Degree (a plus, but not required)Experience and Skills:2-4 years of relevant work experienceInventory / Warehouse Management Software experienceExperience preferred within any of the following areas: distribution, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, customer serviceDemonstrated initiative, creativity, assertiveness, and proactive communicationMS Office Suite proficiency preferred, including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Knowledge of Warehouse Management SystemsStrong Communication skillsStrong computer skills and ability to utilize specialized software and customized programs to meet business needsFlexibility to work a staggered work schedule covering Monday thru Sunday shiftsWillingness to accommodate changes in the schedule including working in other shifts as per operational needs is required (late or early start)Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Practices (GxP)Additional Information:Kelly Services is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
