Bon Secours seeks people that are committed to our values of compassion, human dignity, integrity, service and stewardship to create an environment where associates want to work and help communities thrive.Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehabilitation - Med Surg - St. Francis DowntownJob Summary:The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by:Utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient statusImplementing clinical nursing interventionsHaving a highly diverse medical skillsetDeveloping and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomesEnsuring a safe and therapeutic environmentEssential Functions:Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care teamCollect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting, and assess patient conditionAssesses, stages, photographs, and measures wounds accurately and in accordance with policyEvaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomesAdminister medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization's policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedEducation:* Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in NursingCertifications:* Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)* Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart AssociationExperience:* 1 year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice (preferred, not required)* 1 year of experience in an acute rehabilitation facility (preferred, not required)Training:* EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)As a Bon Secours Mercy Health associate, you're part of a Mission that matters.
