It is important for a day porter to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning, and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a day porter role focused on building upkeep. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in day porter maintenance jobs. Must be able to pass a background check. Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Light Day Porter: to support day -to-day maintenance operations. this role involves performing basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure facilities remain safe, clean and functional. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Perform light maintenance and minor repairs (doors,locks,fixtures,drywall,painting, etc)Replace light bulbs, filters and basic hardwareBasic plumbing and electrical tasks(non-licensed)Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance issues.Assist with equipment and furniture setup/movesMaintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areasRespond to service requests in a timely and professional mannerFollow safety procedure and company protocols Qualifications:Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferredBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairsAbility to use hand and power tools safetyStrong problem -solving skillsReliable transpirationGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to lift up to (X) lbs Work Environment:Indoor and outdoor workStanding, bending, lifting, and walking requiredOccasional evening/weekend work be required Compensation:$16.00 Hour Schedule: This job reports to the Sandra DelaFuente This is a Full-Time position1st Shift.
