We offer paid-training!Paid to be outdoors and be activePromotion from within/several advancement opportunitiesWhat would my hours look like?Full Time8 hour shiftMonday-FridaySaturdays are used as make-up days (Peak Season may require additional Saturdays)Location: Weed Man Elizabethtown, KYPerks of the job:Average earners make $24 - $28 per hourThis is broken down by Production + Hourly & CommissionYear-round, full-time opportunities with marketing and lead generation in off season.Sick, PTO, and Holiday PayHealth, dental, and vision insuranceThe Role of a Lawn Care Technician:Market and occasionally quote our products and services to potential customersDistribute necessary promotional materialMeet with current and prospective customers and exceed customer service standardsProvide professional lawn care services to customers, including applications of fertilizer, lime, weed, insect, disease, grub, mole & mosquito control, aeration, and seedingSafely and knowledgeably handle, mix, transport, and apply chemical productsPerform lawn analyses, including measuring the turf, identifying lawn problems, and identifying accurate pricing for servicesGenerate field sales (additional commission rewarded)Observe and report lawn conditions to customers and sell add-on servicesGet and maintain your pesticide applicator license - We Will Help You Do This!Drive company vehiclesComplete daily truck checkout proceduresProperly and safely maintain equipmentComplete assigned daily work, associated paperwork, and administrative requirements related to the positionClear communication with your team and/or supervisorRequirements:Valid driver’s license with clean driving recordHave a clean criminal recordLegal documentation to verify employment eligibilityAble to work 8-10 hours per day (including some Saturdays during peak season)Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (8-10 hours per day)Ability to work in various weather conditionsAdhere to company policies, which can be found in the employee handbook (i.e., drug, alcohol, tobacco, cell phone, attendance, etc.)Clear verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and will initiate action when neededRequires minimum supervision, but knows when to ask for assistanceAccepts feedback from fellow team membersLocation: 4569 North Dixie HWY suite 104 Elizabethtown, KY 42701
