Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Hoyer Lift experience is a must. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to follow personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Implement and follow care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Monitor clients’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare providers. Uphold resident rights by ensuring dignity, respect, and privacy in all interactions. Assist with memory care techniques for clients experiencing cognitive challenges. Perform light housekeeping duties as needed to maintain a safe and clean environment. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home settings, or social work is preferred. Ability to lift and assist clients as needed for mobility support. Hoyer lift experience is a plus. Strong understanding of patient care principles and resident rights. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to implement effective care plans tailored to individual client needs. Experience with memory care strategies is a plus.
