Server (Part time)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a passion for providing an outstanding dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections. Accurately input orders into the POS system (Aloha POS or Micros POS) and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, refill drinks, and respond promptly to requests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines during service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy shifts. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial but not mandatory.
