Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with a keen interest in the café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting Italian coffee and gelato while also maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Prepare and serve gelato. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling protocols. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; communicate needs to management. Maintain stock levels of pastries and gelato on display. Serve breakfast tables coffee, pastries, breakfast Uphold health and safety standards at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic knowledge of food handling practices and retail math is beneficial. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
