*What would I be doing? *
JMI Construction is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support residential, commercial, and healthcare construction projects throughout Florida. This role will coordinate project documentation, schedules, communications, submittals, procurement, and administrative activities from preconstruction through closeout.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting construction projects involving architects, engineers, subcontractors, owners, and regulatory agencies. Experience with Florida healthcare construction, Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requirements, and AIA contract documents are strongly preferred.

* Support Project Managers and Superintendents with the day-to-day coordination of construction projects.
* Maintain organized project files, logs, schedules, correspondence, and documentation.
* Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, distribute action items, and track follow-up responsibilities.
* Coordinate communication among owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff.
* Monitor project schedules, deadlines, milestones, inspections, and deliverables.
* Track, create, and submit RFIs, submittals, approvals, change orders, pay applications, purchase orders, and closeout documents.
* Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before routing them for approval.
* Maintain AHCA-related project documentation, inspection records, approvals, deficiency logs, and closeout materials.
* project activities for residential construction, renovations, additions, tenant improvements, and commercial construction projects.
* Complete inner-office documentation
* Regularly update clients on status of current project
* Assist in managing and overseeing estimators’ appointment calendar
* Oversee the customer follow up process once a project has been completed
* Monitor project budgets and cost controls; serve as the final approval point for invoices and bills to verify they are assigned to the correct project and cost code, properly supported, and within the approved project budget, purchase order limits, and contract requirements.
