Senior Accountant

If so, you could be the candidate we are searching for to become our Senior Accountant. Rosboro is seeking a highly skilled individual to perform complex accounting activities, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform complex account analysis and general ledger reconciliations, including monthly and quarterly balance sheet accounts and log acquisition activity, and prepare related journal entries.Lead key components of the month‑end close process while collaborating with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate results.Support financial reporting, consolidation, and financial statement preparation.Conduct variance analysis and budget‑to‑actual comparisons to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.Assist with daily cash flow monitoring.Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls, and documentation.Maintain fixed asset systems, including creating and tracking of CIP projects.Assist with annual property tax filings and audits.Document and respond to various government and association inquiries.Maintain accurate financial, statistical, and accounting records including reviewing and analyzing invoice and purchase card expenditures to ensure accurate coding of expenses.Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting inquiries.Key participant in year-end audit with external auditors and tax preparers by preparing necessary information and assistance where needed.Skills & CompetenciesBachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline.
