Propulsion Technician (Engine Final Assembly)

This role sits at the very end of the manufacturing process—where precision, discipline, and accountability matter most.ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical assembly and integration of rocket engines and propulsion subsystemsInstall critical components including valves, feedlines, injectors, sensors, and avionics interfacesExecute precision torqueing, fastening, and sealing operations on flight hardwarePerform alignment, fit checks, and final configuration prior to test or shipmentMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace, propulsion, or precision mechanical assemblyDemonstrated experience working on complex, high-reliability systems (engines, fluid systems, pressure systems, etc.)Demonstrated proficiency with torque tools and precision measurement equipment,cleanroom or controlled assembly environmentsPreferred Skills and Experience5+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience working on rocket engines or spacecraft propulsion systemsExperience supporting engine test operationsExperience working with cryogenic or high-pressure systems & hazardous operrations (fuels, gass or high energy systems)Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this positionAble to lift 50 lbs. unassistedAdditional Information:Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
