Structural Engineer

Pease Borst & Associates, LLC is currently seeking candidates for multiple structural engineering positions at our Palatine office. For the past 50 years, PB&A has been a leading provider of structural consulting services to building construction community in the Chicagoland area and beyond. At this time, we are looking to expand our staff with bright, enthusiastic individuals who want to be a part of our team. The ideal candidates will have at least 5 years experience in the design of building structures, are detail oriented, possess strong communication skills and are capable of managing a project from proposal phase to completion. Responsibilities Work directly with senior structural engineers. Supervise other team members. Analyze and design building framing and foundation systems. Manage and participate in the preparation of structural construction documents. Specification review. Communication with clients. Periodic travel to project sites. Skills & Requirements BS or MS in Civil Engineering (with a structural focus) from an accredited university. Working experience with AutoCAD and Revit. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 5 years minimum experience in a similar position.
