Murren is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman specializing in underground wet utilities (water, sewer, and storm drainage) for heavy civil site development projects throughout the Southeastern United States.This role is responsible for leading field crews, executing work safely and efficiently, and ensuring projects meet safety, quality, production, and scheduling goals. The Pipe Foreman serves as the front-line supervisor and plays a critical role in planning daily operations, coordinating resources, and maintaining our strong safety culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and promote the Company's Safety Culture in all field operationsSupervise and direct pipe crews performing water, sewer, and storm drain installationRead and interpret blueprints, utility profiles, and project specificationsPlan and coordinate daily work activities for assigned phase of workIdentify project risks and proactively communicate issues or opportunitiesEnsure proper layout, grade checking, and elevation control using levels, lasers, and GPSStage materials, equipment, and manpower for efficient workflowMonitor productivity, quality, and schedule performanceSubmit accurate daily reports and complete crew timecard reviewCommunicate project status clearly and timely to Project Managers and SuperintendentsTrain and develop crew members and create opportunities for skill growth and advancementQualifications5+ years of experience as a Foreman in heavy civil underground wet utilitiesProven experience installing water, sewer, and storm drain systemsStrong knowledge of trench safety, OSHA standards, and utility installation best practicesProficient in grade checking, layout, and blueprint readingAbility to utilize a computer for daily reporting, emails, and time entryStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsRequirementsMust have valid driver's licenseMust be a U.S. CitizenMust participate in pre-employment and random drug screening program.Subject to a background screening processAbility to attend job site visits as needed.To be considered for this position, you must first complete our Culture Index personality survey.
